GEOM®Tab table applications

Tailor-made web applications for attribute data and agendas. Folders, filters, tags, attachments, print layouts, map and calendar, linked to GEOM®Editor.

Not everything a network operator keeps records of belongs on a map. Supply outages, water meter replacements, a survey archive or a capacity balance are often kept in Excel spreadsheets, e-mails and folders on a server. GEOM®Tab brings these agendas into one shared web application: a change made by one user is immediately visible to everyone else.

Each application is tailor-made to the workflow and outputs you need. It can be linked to a GIS, but it does not have to be.

The application family

A whole range of agendas already runs on GEOM®Tab technology, and more are being added:

  • NProperty register
  • VWater meter replacements
  • OSupply outages
  • TPressure zones
  • HFirefighting water
  • AElectronic network archive
  • NFoundation
  • MMini-grants
  • PNFV programmes
  • AWater source area and permit audits
  • BCapacity balance register
  • KRegister of free capacity at facilities
  • ZArchive of geodetic surveys
  • DSupplementary network surveys
  • ERegister of planned investments
  • OFacilities

What every GEOM®Tab can do

  • folders with a table or tree view of the data
  • small and large filters, advanced search and user settings
  • tags, relations between records, and attachments, including searching within them
  • in-app and e-mail notifications
  • print layouts with a map and attachments, output to PDF and XLSX
  • map window: selecting records on the map and bulk editing
  • calendar linked to the list and the map for planning
  • import from XLSX and CSV, bulk operations and database procedures
  • links to GEOM®Editor and GEOM®Viewer and back

Examples from practice

The life cycle of a fault. An operator enters an incident in GEOM®Editor, where network tracing is run and the GIS sends notifications. In GEOM®Tab, the records and leaflets are prepared, and finally notifications are sent and the supply outage is published on the portal.

Grant applications. The applicant fills in an application on a public portal. In GEOM®Tab, the administrator checks it, approves it, generates the contract and follows the project through to the final report. The applicant receives automatic notifications at every step, and the approved project appears on a public map. This is how the application for the Veolia Foundation (Nadační fond Veolia) works.

Capacity balance register. Free capacity at wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), pumping stations and other facilities is recalculated automatically with every request. When preparing a statement, the officer can see straight away whether capacity is available, and every commitment can be traced to a specific project. There is no risk of the same capacity being promised twice.
