About us

GISIT was founded in Brno on 3 May 2006 as a limited liability company. The company’s goal is to provide comprehensive IT services to the commercial and research sectors.

The company focuses on developing and deploying information systems, IT consulting and supplying complete corporate IT (information technology) infrastructure.

Part of our work is processing and presenting spatial data using web and mobile technologies – hence the abbreviation GIS (geographic information system) in our company name.

Besides a web GIS client (supplied with a set of optional components, including tools for capturing spatial data in a web browser), we offer a powerful web application for document management (DMS – document management system), GEOFolder. Using our components (GISIT spatial), we also carry out turnkey application development to customer requirements.

In consulting, we focus both on technical consulting, which includes, among other things, the complete design and sizing of corporate infrastructure, and on management consulting, covering the management of development and implementation projects as well as independent evaluation of bids and independent advice when preparing requests for proposals.

Our IT infrastructure deliveries start with a thorough analysis of the customer’s needs. This is followed by sizing and design of the infrastructure and the supply of hardware and software itself. We also offer customers comprehensive management of the delivered infrastructure, including remote administration as well as scheduled and emergency on-site visits.

The basic rule of our work is the highest quality of products and services, combined with respect for the customer. In the tough IT market, where humility towards the customer – the user – is slowly disappearing, we want to succeed by providing modern products and professional services with minimal overhead.
